Luke Fletcher struck a belligerent 99, whilst Dane Schadendorf made 88, as Nottinghamshire amassed 377/9 on the first day of the Second XI Championship fixture against Yorkshire at Lady Bay. 

Fletcher’s 125-ball innings featured no fewer than 16 boundaries - including four sixes - while he shared a seventh wicket stand of 132 with Schadendorf. 

Earlier, Liam Patterson-White’s 65 preceded Tom Loten’s 62, despite Notts being initially reduced to 51/3.

The run-laden first day followed captain Steven Mullaney winning the toss and elected to bat.

His side scored at a touch under four runs per over throughout the first day, despite losing early wickets.
