Greg Smith’s second century in the space of 24 hours helped Nottinghamshire’s Second XI post a commanding total on day one against Northamptomshire.
Smith scored 146 off 245 balls – and Anuj Dal amassed 125 – as the visitors to Milton Keynes declared late in the day on 387-8. Northamptonshire closed the opening day on 21-0 from 12 overs.
